  • NEW BUSINESS: Country Chic Boutique is introducing a new extension of the business called The Back Forty, a country-western lifestyle brand. It will be located across the street from CCB in Scandinavia. Congratulations!
  • FOOD PANTRY BOOST: Iola-Scandinavia High School DECA organization collected 2,024 non-perishable food and personal hygiene items for the food pantry. Thanks to the almost 140 students which participated in the collection!
  • Bill Wendlandt will present “Connect-the-Dots” Constellation Program at the Iola Village Library on Wednesday, Nov. 16, at 5:30 p.m. He will teach attendees how to identify the different constellations and provide tools to make a map of the stars.
  • Iola-Scandinavia Students of the Month are Myah Heschke for the high school and Aidan Giefer for the middle school. Congratulations!
