Elissa Ann Krzywda

Elissa Ann Krzywda, 74, of Iola, Wisconsin, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025. She resided at the Manawa Community Living Center in Manawa, Wisconsin,the last four years.

She was born on October 9, 1950, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Stanley and Ann (Soltis) Krzywda.

Elissa was raised in Cleveland, Ohio, and graduated from Holy Name High School. After graduation she was employed at Aetna Insurance as a supervisor. She moved to Montana and worked for Pioneer Nursing Home as a nurses aide and Todd Construction as a bookkeeper. She returned to Ohio and worked in bookkeeping for Gross Construction.

She then moved to Wisconsin in 2007, began work as an assembler at Gray Hill in Iola and later worked in food service at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King, Wisconsin, for four years. Elissa was very well acquainted with Iola, as she spent her summer vacations on the farm with her aunt and uncle, Rose and Leonard Cwik. Her interests included cooking, sewing and art.

Elissa is survived by her cousins, Louise (Louis) Adams, Denise (Thomas) Ludlow, Patricia (Darryl) Vigon, Cecelia Larson, Theresa Ann Tongson, William Soltis, Michelle Soltis, and Michael Soltis. She was preceded in death by her parents and beloved kitty, Katie.

 A Graveside Service for Elissa will be held on Friday June 27, 11 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Iola with Fr. Kris Mekala officiating.
