Steven D. Eggerts has had 16 counts filed against him including arson and mutilating a corpse in connection with an April 27 house fire on County Road P in the Town of Harrison.

Other charges include straw purchasing of firearm, two counts of burglary–arm self with dangerous weapon, 10 counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and first degree recklessly endangering safety.

In a Tuesday court appearance, bond was set by the court at $250,000.
