Donna M. Wacek-Brandt

June 4, 1937 – May 20, 2023

Donna M Wacek Brandt (Schuch) passed away on May 20, 2023, at the age of 85, in Iola, Wisconsin.

Donna was born in Kewaunee, Wisconsin, on June 4, 1937, to Adolph and Sylvia (Ramesh) Schuch.

Donna graduated from Kewaunee High School in 1955. Donna was a standout cheerleader for three years, also a member of the Debate club, FHA club, NFL club, Pep Club, Student Council and many other clubs. 

On Oct. 11, 1958, she married Richard B. Wacek and they were married until Richard passed on Jan. 15, 1997, 39 years and two children, son Jeffrey Wacek wife Cassandra of Iola, and daughter Kim M. Wacek of St Augustine, Florida.

After attending a class reunion, she meet and married classmate Louis Brandt, on Aug. 17, 2002.  They had 19 wonderful years, until he passed away on June 4, 2021.

Donna was a very stylish lady. Many hobbies including Gardening, Floral arrangements, word search, excellent cook and baker. She was very proud of her home and family.

Her main job was a homemaker, wife mother, Aunt, and her faith – prayed the rosary every day. And even managed a job at NWTC.

Survivors include Kim Wacek, Jeffrey Wacek wife Cassandra, twin brother Dean Schuch and wife Carol, Cecil, Wisconsin, brother-in-law Edward Wacek De Pere, Wisconsin, grandson Tyson Bartosh and wife Candice, four grandchildren, two nieces, and thre nephews.

Private services will be held at Voie Funeral home in Iola on Friday, May 26. At family request no flowers.
