Get ready for an evening of laughter and excitement as Donkey Basketball returns to Iola-Scandinavia High School on Thursday, Jan. 29. The event, hosted by the I-S High School softball team, kicks off at 7 p.m. in the high school gym and promises fun for the whole family.

Admission is $10 if purchased in advance and $15 at the door. Tickets are available from any high school softball player or through the elementary and high school offices.

Game lineup

The night will begin with a matchup between current I-S High School softball players and alumni athletes. Following that, the second game will pit I-S School Staff against local heroes from the Iola and Scandinavia fire departments. The winners of these two games will face off in a championship round, ensuring plenty of competitive action and laughs throughout the evening.

Additional activities

Guests can enjoy refreshments from the concession stand and participate in a 50/50 raffle. Representatives from the Iola and Scandinavia fire departments will also be present, sharing information and recruiting new fire and medical personnel for their teams.

All proceeds from Donkey Basketball will help fund the I-S High School softball team’s spring training trip to Florida this April. Come out to support your local athletes and enjoy a unique and entertaining night.
