After more than 19 years of law enforcement service, Detective Sgt. Jon Loken retired on April 7.

Loken was born, raised and now resides in Iola.

Loken started working with the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office in 2006 as a patrol deputy. Deputy Loken was a K9 handler for 11 years, partnered with three different dogs, Arka, Keira, and Nova.

In 2019 Deputy Loken was promoted to Detective Sergeant.

“Thank you Detective Sergeant Loken for your dedicated service to the Law Enforcement profession and to the citizens of Waupaca County. You have been a mentor and friend to many people during your career,” announced the WCSD.
