Delbert (Butch) Bude
May 4, 1939 – June 5, 2023

Delbert (Butch) Bude 84, of Iola, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023.
He was born on May 4, 1939, to the late Delbert and Genevieve (Budsberg) Bude.
Delbert married his wife Sharon of 58 years in August of 1965.
Del served in the U.S. Navy from 1960-64 during the Vietnam war. He was proud of his time in the service. During this time, he was stationed on the USS St. Paul, a Baltimore-class cruiser, and the USS Gurke, a Gearing-class destroyer, in the waters off Japan.
He was a Journeyman Tool and Die maker for his career outside of the Naval Service.
He enjoyed motorcycle riding. He retired to the Iola area to be in nature, near family and to be near where his ancestors settled. He enjoyed gardening and tree planting on his property. He loved animals; having many dogs over the years and cats, which he loved to spoil. He so enjoyed sitting out on his deck feeding and watching the “chippys and hummers”.
He is survived by his wife Sharon; children Kari (Aaron) Karnitz, Craig (Maureen) Bude; five grandchildren; and two brothers Jerry (Diane) Bude and Neil Bude; and many nieces, nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Delbert Bude, mother Genevieve Bude, sister in-law JoAnn (Neil) Bude, and other loved ones.
A private graveside service for Delbert will be held on Friday, June 9, at 1 p.m. at the Central Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in King, Wisconsin. Please meet in the parking area at the front entrance of the cemetery 15 minutes prior.
In lieu of flowers, Del would love to have a tree planted in his memory.
