A write-in candidate will win the Waupaca County Board of Supervisors District 8 seat in the April 5 election. Thus far, no candidate has filed for the seat.

The district encompasses the Town of Harrison, Town of Wyoming, and the Village of Big Falls, and a precinct each in the Town of Iola and Town of Helvetia.

Janet L. Lehrer died in November 2021 and the seat has remained vacant.

The person who receives the most write-in votes on April 5 will be called. If a person is willing then the county board may appoint the person to the District 8 seat.
