The Chester L. Krause Legacy Park is slated for completion in the Fall of 2022 and donations are now being solicited.

“This is a great way to give tribute to a man who gave so much in so many ways to the people and communities of Iola-Scandinavia and beyond,” stated Trey Foerster, former publisher of the Iola Herald and publisher of HeadspringIS.com. “The park will be a wonderful addition to the community and a place where Chester Krause’s legacy will be remembered for decades to come.”

The park is located behind South Main Street and in front of the old Krause Publications building on Krause Drive.

All contributions to the Chester Krause Park Fund are entitled to treatment as deductible donations in accordance with applicable Wisconsin and federal tax statues.
