Carol Krueger

July 12, 1940 – November 22, 2022

Carole Krueger, age 82, of Scandinavia, Wisconsin, passed away on Nov. 22, 2022, at her residence.

She was born on July 12, 1940, in the Town of Harrison, Waupaca County, to the late Oscar and Laura (Anderson) Jones.

Carole married Arthur Eugene Krueger Jr. on June 11, 1960, at Northland Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on Nov. 15, 2015.

Art and Carole lived and worked for many years in Merrill, Wisconsin, and retired to Scandinavia in the early 2000s. She was an active member at Scandinavia Lutheran Church in many different capacities over the years, but her most recent involvement was in the church’s food pantry ministry.

She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandma, and friend. She always had a cheery hello and a welcome smile for everyone. She will be missed by us all. Our comfort is that she is now in heaven with her Lord and Savior.

Carole is survived by a daughter Kristie (Dale) Schulz of Waterloo, Illinois; son Thomas (Lisa) Krueger, Rochester, Minnesota; four grandchildren Amy and Sarah Schulz, Willie Gotmer and Jake Anderson; one great-grandchild Palmer Anderson; and sister Betty Gunderson of Iola. She was preceded in death by a niece Darlene Gunderson,

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at 11 a.m. at Scandinavia Lutheran Church with Rev. Kent Wallace, Pastor, officiating. A visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Interment will be at Scandinavia Lutheran Cemetery in the Township of Scandinavia.

Memorials may be given in Carole’s memory to the food pantry at Scandinavia Lutheran Church.
