The School District of Iola-Scandinavia has hired Jan Bue-Wells as middle school/high school principal, to replace Chris Nelson, who will take over as district administrator July 1.

Bue-Wells is currently a math teacher in the Milton School District. She continues a pattern of hiring math teachers for the I-S principal position. She has licenses as a principal, and curriculum and instruction director.
