There is a “Battle of the Brothers” happening at Iola-Scandinavia Middle/High School this week!

Kristian Welch, a graduate of I-S, who plays Special Teams for the Green Bay Packers, will be playing the NFL Wild Card game against Amherst’s Tyler Biadasz, who is the starting Center for the Dallas Cowboys.

Both of these players have siblings who work at I-S Middle/High School. Karina Hass, sister of Kristian Welch, teaches English and Language Arts in the Middle School. Joel Biadasz, brother of Tyler Biadasz, teaches Physical Education and Health.

Fun and games are planned this week to cheer on these players from this area. At the end of the week, the students will choose their side!
