Weave a basket with Cherokee wheels. One step at a time, you will learn material preparation, measuring, marking, upstaking, start-stop weaving, simple rims, Cherokee wheels and lashing.

The class will be held on Saturday, Feb. 12, starting at 9 a.m. at Lessons from the Art in Iola. Cost is $30.

A new basket class will be held on Thursday, Feb. 24, at Lesson from the Art in Iola. This is a perfect class for beginners or children. You will make a 7×5-inch basket.

The class will be from 5:30-9 p.m. and cost $20.
