On Sept. 6, the BABA inducted their class of 2024 into the Hall of Fame: Floyd Kristof, Pete Pleshek, Mark Mattmiller, and Sid Nowinsky.

This year they were honored at a banquet held at Northwinds Banquet Hall in Marion, Wisconsin. A crowd of baseball fans from around the league helped honor them.

Past inductees Dave Peterson and Bruce Breitenfeldt also attended as did many family members. Terry Verg from the Caroline Cougars was presented with the Don Martzke Award for dedication to the league. Teams from around the league were represented and provided bucket raffle items.

Funds raised will be going toward building a facility to display the thousands of items of league memorabilia collected by BABA commissioner Craig Brei and his family.

We hope to make this an annual event and will be expanding our number of inductees as we go forward to include past players who are deserving. The group is open to nominees.

In addition, we will be working on fundraising for the building soon.
