The Town of Harrison Board will convene for a meeting at Northland Lutheran Church at 6:30 p.m., addressing community matters. Simultaneously, the School District of Iola-Scandinavia will hold a board meeting at the Elementary School Library starting at 7 p.m. At Scandinavia Municipal Center, the Friends of Scandinavia History group will gather at 7 p.m.
March 12
The day kicks off with a quilting session at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church at 8 a.m. Later in the day, the Village of Scandinavia Board will meet at Scandinavia Municipal Center at 5 p.m., followed by the Village of Iola Board meeting at Iola Village Hall, Iola Community Room at 5:30 p.m. The American Legion and Auxiliary will host a meeting at Iola Village Hall, Iola Community Room at 7 p.m.
March 13
Start your day at 7 a.m. with the Iola-Scandinavia Chamber of Commerce meeting at Iola Village Hall. Throughout the day, the Iola Lions Club will conduct a Diabetes Awareness outreach at Iola Sentry. Other events include Pre-School Story Time at Iola Village Library (10 a.m.), Prayer Ministry at Scandinavia Lutheran Church (1 p.m.), Confirmation Class at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church (3:30 p.m.), Lenten Supper sponsored by Confirmation students at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church (5:15 p.m.), Town of Scandinavia Board meeting at Scandinavia Municipal Center (5:30 p.m.), Lenten Services at Iola United Methodist Church (5:30 p.m.), Lenten Service titled “I’m So Ashamed!” at Redeemer Lutheran Church (6:30 p.m.), and Bluegrass Music at Northland Sports Bar & Grill at 7 p.m.

A busy day starts with a Community Coffee at Scandinavia Municipal Center at 8 a.m. The Crystal Café celebrates Pi Day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., offering a slice of pie for $3.14. Other events include a Crafting Bee at Scandinavia Public Library (10 a.m.), “Coffee with Chris” school referendum presentation at ScandiHus (10 a.m.-noon), SLCW at Scandinavia Lutheran Church (noon), Iola Garden Club meeting at Iola Village Hall, Iola Community Room (noon), Cribbage Tournament at Silver Lake Lanes (1 p.m.), Bridge at Iola Village Hall (1 p.m.), Girls and Boys Varsity Track Invitational at Wilmore Center at Ripon College (3:30 p.m.), Fresh Hope at Scandinavia Lutheran Church (6 p.m.), Council at Scandinavia Lutheran Church (6:30 p.m.), Council at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church (7 p.m.), and Open Mic at Odin & Freja’s Place at 7 p.m.

Join Friendly Friday at Iola Public Library at 1 p.m., bringing a craft or joining in a puzzle. Later in the day, catch the Iola-Scandinavia High School Girls Varsity Track at UW-Stevens Point Multi-Activity Center at 3 p.m. Northland Sports Bar & Grill hosts a Pool Singles Tournament at 6 p.m. for $10 per person, featuring the luck of the draw with the best 2-out-of-3 rounds. In the evening, enjoy live music by Cody James at Odin & Freja’s Place at 7:30 p.m.
March 16
The Iola-Scandinavia High School Boys Varsity Track team competes at UW-Stevens Point Multi-Activity Center at 10 a.m. Later in the day, experience Half Mile of Music in Scandinavia with Boogie Sauce with Added Ingredient Thomas Lee at Silver Lakes Lanes at 4:30 p.m., The Band Orphans at Odin & Freja’s Place at 7:30 p.m., and Side Two at Happy Daaze Bar & Grill at 9 p.m.
A live performance by Tae will take place at LittleWolf Gallery at 6 p.m., with a minimum $10 door fee.
March 17 – St. Patrick’s Day
Bring a dish to pass and join the Potluck at Iola United Methodist Church. Wrap up the week with Vinyl Sundays at Odin & Freja’s Place at 7 p.m.
